Unison Music Therapy is CLOSING

The good news? Music Therapy continues.

Unison Music Therapy has been in business for seven years. After growing from a one person business serving a handful of clients to a business serving Eastern Idaho and Northern Idaho with multiple music therapists, it is time for Unison to end. The good news is, there are still incredible music therapists in the area who are continuing to offer music therapy with their own businesses.

“Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent."

-Victor Hugo

WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?

The American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) defines music therapy as the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.

In other words, we use music to accomplish non-musical goals. This can be used to promote wellness, decrease pain perception, manage stress, promote physical rehabilitation, improve communication, express feelings and so on.
